The Future Looks Bright and Beautiful!

I had a friend ask me to do some headshots for her girls as well as a couple of their friends. This was my first attempt and promised I would post a couple before I headed south for the week. Hope you like them! Thanks for giving me the opportunity. I had soooo much fun.

My Son and His Dad

I recently took a photo for my son to give his Gran for Christmas with his Dad. Here is the one they picked out for her.

My Kids

When I started this business I put my kids through alot. They were there to try out new props, new lighting, new backdrops, poses...pretty much everything. Whether it was my 15 year old, or my 4 year old they have always stepped up when their Mom needed them. I struggled with whether I would share personal photographs on my blog. I came to the conclusion that I should. They are the reason I am doing what I love. They started it all. They are my favourite subjects and will always be. I am so blessed. I mean that in every sense of the word. They are both happy, healthy kids who actually get along and love each other. This post is for them. I love you both very much. I am very proud to be your Mom!

The G Family

I have been photographing this family for their annual Christmas card for the past few years. It is amazing to me as I look back to see how much K and M have changed and grown up. I love them all dearly, and loved having them in my studio for the first time.

The M Family

It was so nice to have my Aunt, Uncle and two cousins come in for their family portrait. I was a bridesmaid at their wedding and remember the day both girls were born. I feel old! Miss J and Miss L have become wonderful young women. Thanks for coming in to see me.

The B Family and Miss R

I have known this Mom for the last 5 years since my son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Her and the rest of the clinic staff have become some of the most important people in our lives. We are so lucky to have them. It was even nicer to meet her two daughters. Miss E and Miss S were such nice young ladies and a joy to photograph. Hope you enjoy these shots.

The C Family

The C Family has become very close to me over the last five years. My son and their son both suffer from Type 1 Diabetes. I actually attended the same elementary school and high school as this Mom did, and now our sons are very close friends. They are a wonderful family. My family is very lucky to have them in our lives. This is the first time I have had a family with kids who are all teenagers. It was so much fun to have them in the studio.

3 J's and Lacey

I have photographed this family many times before. I think this is my 3rd consecutive year. When I look back to the first time I captured them, I can't believe how grown up the girls have become. They are great girls with a wonderful Mom. I love them all! This time they brought the newest addition to their family with them. Lacey was a perfect model.

Beautiful Dancing Sisters

This was a first for me. Anyone who knows me knows that I am about as far away from a dancer as you can possibly get. With the help of their Mom I was able to take some beautiful dance poses of these stunning girls. We then got casual and did some relaxed shots of the two of them being just girls. Hope you like them Mom! Miss T and Miss B are wonderful young ladies!

Great Kids

I have known these two since the day they were born. I had the privilege of being in the delivery room when Mr M was born. They have grown into such amazing young adults. I could not be prouder of them if they were my own. I love you both!

Miss S

Last, but certainly not least is my last model. She was so much fun to work with. I hope all of you realize how beautiful you are inside and out!
